Das Atelier Schillerstraße ist seit Jänner 2017 ein Kooperationspartner des steirischen „Artist in Residency-Programm“ (St.A.i.R.) St.A.i.R. ist ein Förderungsprogramm der Abteilung A9 Kultur, Europa, Außenbeziehungen des Landes Steiermark für internationale KünstlerInnen, denen im Rahmen der Residency sowohl monatliche finanzielle Unterstützung ihres Projektvorhabens, als auch ein Wohn- und Arbeitsplatz in Graz geboten wird. Einer dieser Arbeitsplätze ist unser Atelier.
Folgende Künstler*innen haben seit 2017 bei uns gearbeitet und wurden während ihres Aufenthaltes von uns betreut. Am Ende jeder residency steht eine Präsentation der Künstler*innen im Rahmen eines Material Talks.

Since January 2017 Atelier Schillerstraße runs a cooperation with the „Artist in Residency-Programm“ (St.A.i.R.) of the Cultural Department of the Regional Government of Styria. The St.A.i.R. Programm allocates scholarships for young artists. These scholarships are for international artists of all kinds as well as for art theorists. The scholarship provides living and working space in Graz. Our studio is one of these working spaces for international artist coming to Graz.

The aim of the programm is to create and strengthen the network between Styrian based and international artist. To achieve this goal the Styrian Government / Culture Department cooperates with several culture Institutions in Graz who are responsible for international artists and include them in their processes, allow space for working and work presentations.
